Publication of fine art books

Publication of “Alla ricerca di Fidia”, an art book on the Greek sculptor Fidia, famous for his work on the Parthenon, Athens, in 438 B.C., to commemorate Fidia Holding’s 20th anniversary.

Patron of the Casita Maria Center for Arts & Education in the Bronx

FIDIA HOLDING s.p.a. is supporting Casita Maria Center for Arts and Education. Casita Maria’s mission is to empower youth and their families in the South Bronx community by creating a culture of learning through high quality educational opportunities. In one of the poorest districts in the country and in a city where more than one in five adults cannot read beyond the fifth grade level, Casita Maria teaches children to succeed through vibrant after school and educational programs focusing on the arts, music and technology.


Patron of the Metropolitan Opera Guild

The Metropolitan Opera Guild supports the Metropolitan Opera and encourages the appreciation of opera through a wide variety of educational programs. The Guild’s Education Department provides an innovative network of music and arts education programs to hundreds of schools and communities worldwide. The Guild also produces an annual series of public programs in major New York City venues both to raise funds for its education programs and to celebrate the art and artists of opera.

Foundation for Advanced Biomedical Research

FIDIA HOLDING s.p.a. supports The Foundation for Advanced Biomedical Research which was founded in Padua in 1996 with the aim of promoting scientific research in the field of cellular and molecular biology. In partnership with the University and the Hospital of Padua, the Foundation for Advanced Biomedical Research serves as the operational arm of the Venetian Institute of Molecular Medicine (VIMM). VIMM exemplifies a rare trend of public and private collaboration to support biomedical research.






Founded in Padua in 1955, the OIC Foundation is now one of Europe’s leading institutions focusing on elderly people. It opens its doors of opportunity to enrich lives and enhance human progress for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social services, arts, and health care programs. Henry Street's services and programs are designed to help individuals become self-sufficient by providing access to education, housing, basic nutrition, health care and employment opportunities.
